Yes! When you create a Shiptheory account, it gives you a 2-week trial to setup and test with. During this period, you also have full access to Shiptheory’s Support Team, who will be more than happy to assist you with the setup of your account.
What carriers can you connect with using Shiptheory?
Shiptheory connects with a number of local and global carriers – they integrate with some of the world’s biggest, such as Hermes, DPD and FedEx, but if you’re looking for something smaller or more local, why not check out our list of carriers and channels?
How are Shipping Labels created?
As orders, or shipments, are automatically imported to your Shiptheory account from your Channel(s), they pass through the rules engine. If a shipment matches one of your shipping rules, a shipping label is created with your predefined Carrier shipping method. A label is created that is printable from your Shiptheory account dashboard. If the carrier produces a tracking number, the tracking number is returned to your channel. If Shiptheory attempts to create a label from one of your shipments and your carrier denies the consignment, an error will be shown on your Shiptheory dashboard in red. Shiptheory keeps your channel(s) updated with exactly what is happening in your Shiptheory account.
What about Manifests?
Each Carrier works slightly differently when it comes to shipping manifests. A good rule of thumb is to consider that Shiptheory automatically populates your manifest ready for you to print out each day. Although you probably need to login to your Carrier to print the manifest each day, it should have already been populated with any shipments your Shiptheory account created labels for. You should check our documentation for your specific Carrier to make sure Shiptheory is working your manifest in the way you expect.
